V

Why is it so hard for us to talk with each other? How can we break down the emotional wall?

"Voice" is a special gift from God. The moment we came out from our mother's womb, we let out a cry , a voice that give a relief to our mum , a voice of happiness , a wonderfull voice that have been gifted for us to communicate with each other in the future, a voice that bonds us with our family members ,relatives, friends ,future husbands, future wives, future children, future grandchildren, and even strangers around us . Without voice , life is dreary, monotonous, dismal and lifeless.Without voice and words , we are unlikely to understand each other better. However ,there are still some people who find it "challenging"to talk with each other , as for them , talking is like having medicine. Why is it so?

I believe that emotional conflict is the most prominent factor that stop both parties from having a conversation with each other. In the movie "A Thousand Years of Good Prayers", Mr Shi and his daughter are having antagoism since Yilan was still young. Yilan and her mum heard rumours about Mr Shi was having a relationship with his working partner at the workplace , however Yilan did't have the courage or initiative to ask Mr Shi the truth and remain silent till the very last moment.Being a rocket scientist , Mr Shi was taught to remain silent all the time as everything about his job and career is confidential, is a big secret for his company and the country , China itself. Therefore , Mr Shi and Yilan seldom talk to each other and did not get to know each other better.

Communication is paramount to having a successful relationship. The same is true about raising children. Parents must communicate with each other in order to reap the benefits of child rearing. Learning how to effectively communicate is mostly a task of learning how to listen. Active listening skills will help anyone communicate effectively and empathetically in a relationship and reduces the risk of not being heard. Typically one of the major areas of importance in a marriage is children. Unfortunately more often than not, one parent does a majority of the communication with the child while the other parent is an innocent bystander.Stay active in all aspects of the child's life regardless of who traditional roles is it.

Apart from this , why is it so hard for us to talk to each other? Is it of language barrier that become a thick wall between both parties t0communicate with each other?
Not really, what really matter is our mindset and heart whether we are willing , sincere and patient to talk to each other.Even two parties who came from different background and share different languages and religions are able to talk with each other, just like Mr Shi and Madam who is an Iranian in the movie. They are able to do so because of one important criterias as they are talking heart to heart .

Last but not least ,we should appreciate what God gave us ,our voice that some unfortunate people around the world yearn for it .Make full use of it and use it to communicate with each other to make the worls a better place to stay in.

Animal Rights!!!

Almost all of us grew up eating meat, wearing leather , and going to circuses and zoos. Many of us bought our beloved "pets" at pet shops , had adorable kitten, guinea pig and kept beautiful birds in cages. We wear wool and silk , ate McDonald's burgers ,and fished .We never considered the impact of this action on the animals involved . Some of you might asked , "Why should animal have rights?" In his book Animal Liberation ,Peter Singer states that the basic principle of equality does not require equal treatment , it require equal consideration . Animals surely deserve to live their lives free from suffering and exploitation .Jeremy Bentham , the founder of the reforming utilitarian school of moral philosophy ,stated that when deciding on being's right , "The question is not 'Can they reason?' nor "Can they talk"but "Can they suffer?" The capacity of suffering is the vital characteristics that gives a being the right to equal consideration . All animals have the ability to suffer in the same way and to the same degree as human do. So, animals should not be killed brutally in order to fullfill the demand of human wants and animals should not be subjected to laboratary experiments to suffer. In fact , they should be protected by humans .

When I mention about animal testing should discontinued, I believe that some of you might argued that animal testing is necessary for the development of vaccines ,cures and treatments for human health. First, animal not only react differently than humans to different drugs , vaccines ,and experiments , they also reacted differently from one another . The most famous example of the dangers of the animal testing is the Thalidomide tragedy of the 1960s and 1970s .Thalidomide , which came out on the German market late in the 1950s , had previously been safety tested on thousands of animals .It was marketed as a wonderful sedative for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers and it supposedly caused no harm to either mother or child . Despite this "safety testing" , at least 10,000 children whose mothers had taken Thalidomide were born throughout the world with severe deformities . Clioquinol is another example of drug which safety tested on animals had severely negative impact on humans. Manufactured in Japan and marketed as providibg safe relief from diarrhea . As a result , some 30,000 cases of blindness or paralysis and thousands of deaths occured. Are these two examples just isolated cases? Even though pharmaceuticals are routinely tested on on animals , the Journal of the American Medical Association reported that 100,000 people every year are killed by prescription drugs and more than two million are hospitalized as a result of prescription drugs. Stop torturing animal in the lab and I will show you how the animals are being treated in the lab in a short documentary that our group had done .

Last Thursday , Architecture two students had been given a task by Mr Derick to make a short video on whatever issues we like , and our group , Hazman, Sabri ,Daniel, Ah Beng and I had decided to work on animal rights . Hazman edited the cruel and sad part of the video as Sabri find some facts and statistic about animal killing ,while Ah Beng and I edited the front part of the video and Daniel finds videos of animal killing as well . We started to download as many videos as we can from 4.00pm to 5.30pm . After having our dinner and rest , we gathered again and around 9.15pm we start to work untill 4.00am in the morning.Although we are extremely tired but we are satisfied and happy that we finally complete our video. What I am really grateful is all of us have teamworks and able to discuss without quarelling. Finally ,I hope you guys like it.

MASK

It have been so long that I din't update my blog,I am sorry for that.Actually I have many things to tell but I choose to write in my own diary as I am one of those who like to keep all the feeling to oneselve. Everyday I am wearing a mask to school , a mask that can hide all my real feelings inside, a mask that deceive everybody , a mask that I am not comfortable wearing , a mask that control my real emotions , a mask that help me cover up things , a mask that haunt me , a mask that prevent me from voicing up what I wish to do , a mask that stop me from gaining my own right . Sometimes I felt so tedious , frustrated , exhausted of wearing that mask and it seems that I have been controled, in fact I don't want to be controlled by anybody.I just wish that one day I will become myself again .I want to be me again . I want to come back to live !!!

DREAMS

"I have a dream, a song to sing , to help me cope with anything, if u see the wonder of a fairy tale ,you can take the future even if you fail . I believe in angels.Something good in everything I see. I believe in angels. When I know the time is right for me.I'll cross the stream - I have a dream.................".Does this lyric sounds familiar to you? A song sang by Seyfried Amanda, in fact it bis one of my esteemed songs. Have you been dreaming all the time ? Is that a nightmare, being kidnapped or being tortured? Or dream about Mr Derick treat all of us with Starbuck coffee? What I would like to share with all of you is about my dreams recently which I can remember vividly in my mind. Before you begin to read further ,please bear in mind that all my dreams sonud weird and funny.

The Story begin.............
PART 1

The moisture laden clouds swirling in the sky became more and more compact and darker and darker. High above in the sky ,the clouds continue to roll and turn and were churned into tightly-packed , black cotton -wool-like masses that completely blocked out the sun . A loud rumble issued from the innards of the churning clouds and they regurgited most of the water they had received from earth through eveporation. It was an instant downpour in which gigantic drops of water pelted the earth and everything was on it. The instanteneous torrential downpour made me soaked and I want to run as fast as I could to reach the bus station nearby, but I couldn't run and move as I dunow why . Does this imply anything in my daily life?

PART 2

There were about one hundred people lying in the operation room with glass wall just situated near beside a gigantic aquarium with different kinds of fishie swimming here and there. There is only one woman standing in the middle of the surgery room . She was completely bald and her face is heavily made up. She wears a layer of powder on her black face , her eyebrows are thickly drawn and her lips were crimson with a very generous amount of lipstick . She looks hideous. Holding a knife in her hand tightly , she stabbed one of the people who lying on the bed .At the very moment the knife penetrated the person, one of the fish in the aquarium die .And again , she stabed another women , and there is no blood flushing out. Instead ,the other fish die and it was bleeding profusely and then dissapeared . After that, I realized that I am one of the victims too and I am too horified to react. And the next moment, I woke up from dreams with sweats dripping from my forehead.

PART 3
Miss Effa bring all of us to have Applicable Maths lessons in 1 Utama

PART 4
This is indeed a very special dream that I had never had before. In fact, I have the same dreams three times. I was lying on my bed (in my own room at home) ,I saw a very powerful light shining on top on my ceiling and it was so beautiful,so alluring and I tried to reached it but I can't. I have no idea why I have the same dreams for three times .

Dreams are very special and it is a natural phenomena.

MOVIE FREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah Beng, a nice, handsome, attractive and cute guy that I had ever met recently bring me to watch movie almost every night at GSC in 1 Utama. Can you believe me or not we had watch more than ten movies in just a few weeks in cinema !!! Both of us are too addicted in watching movie late at night till we are afraid of missing any one of them. Ranging from cartoon movie like Tales Of Desperateux to horror movie like The Unborn ,we had watch it all, others are like Love Matters (that I watch twice), 12 Rounds, Confessions Of A Shopaholic, Knowing , The Readers (Oscar winning Movie) , Hotel For Dogs, The International ( A boring movie that bring me into my dreamworld) , Watchmen (Ah Beng's Favourite Movie) , Dragonball Evolution (the most lousy movie ), Race to Witch Mountain , Slumdog Millionaire , Taken (The most amazing movie) and comming soon our next target is Shinjuku Incident directed by Derek Yee that we are going to watch tonoght.
"Taken " is the movie that I strongly recommended to each and everyone of you ,if you miss it I believe that you will regret for the rest of your life. This movie is about
Bryan (Liam Neeson), a former secret agent living in the US, reluctantly lets his 17-year-old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace, "Lost") go on holiday to Paris with a friend. Upon arrival in Paris, the two girls meet a seemingly nice young man who turns out to be a member of an Albanian crime syndicate, promptly kidnapping and forcing them into prostitution. Bryan must rely on his old skills in order to rescue his daughter from the slave trade. What I am interested in this movie is the content of the movie ,how a father willing to sacrifice anything including job, time ,and even life just to make sure her daughther is safe and happy. Nevertheless, I had seen the dark side of the evil part of the world and agreed with the idiom "Money is the root of Evil". How could the crime syndicate kidnapped others' daughter to turn them into prostitude and even give them drug as a "reward" after doing their job to fullfill guys sexual desire and they called this as a kind of business. So girls , remember we cannot judge a book by its cover, a good looking and polite guy doens't mean they can be trusted, just like the country "Paris", a beautiful and lovely country , but do you know that how many innocent teenage girls had been kidnapped and forced to become sex slave for the rest of their life?!!
As a whole, watching movies in cinema bring lots of benefit to me ,it can trigger my thoughts ,my emotions and even affect the way I think about life. So guys, have fun watching movie!!!!!!

AOTEROA

Aoteroa means NEW ZEALAND (NZ) in Maori language. New Zealand is a traveller 's paradise ,with breathtaking snow-caped ,beautiful white sandy subtropical beaches , thermal geysers, bustling cosmopolitan cities and remote rural areas of unsurpassed beauty .Combine this with friendly people ,New Zealand is such a perfect place to live in and study. Apart from this , New Zealand is not make up of two islands ,but instead is three, the North island, the south island and the Stewart Island near Antartica, and this is where the explorer who want to go Antartica will stop there and get their food supply and anything that they need before exploring the magestic glaceries ,iceberg and wildlife .
Last Friday, Eliza ,Franky ,Sabri ,Hazman and I went to SELSET NEW ZEALAND CENTRE near SS15/7 ,Subang Jaya to meet Madam Carol Tham who is going to explain to us about the application to University of Auckland and University of Wellington and the entry requirements too. After the talk, OMG!!!!! the passing mark to enter University Of Auckland is 94% and besides we are required to do a portfolio which consists 30% of the mark!! How am I going to do that, with all the assignments of every subjects , homework, topic tests ,oral tests, documentary piling day by day, I need four to six hours to complete a drawing in great details . STRESS is always there in my entire life (I believe ) , it always haunt me and it may bring both positive and negative effects. I still can't handle stress in an appropriate way and I really want to study in a more relax way.
Whatever it is ,I still have to gone through that kind of life. But I am very happy to have such a wonderful friends here, especially my roomates, Shun Ling (tai ka ze) leng lui ,who always wake me up early in the morning and became my efficient alarm clock,Siew Wern my classmates and roomates ,best friend too, and last but not least Hooi Ying and we called her "Gui Fu" who was a very stable lady. Besides , a guy named Wxx Sxxng like to tesae everybody in the whole college in a very creative and funny way . I hope that we will always keep in touch in the future especially my love one.

LIFE

Life
It is miracle that when a sperm fertilize with an ovum in the Fallopian tube , repeated mitotic division occurs to produce a solid ball of cell called morula , further mitosis converted this into a hollow ball of cell called blastocyst that embeds itself in the thickened wall of the uterus, the blastocyst will soon become an embryo, foetus and being born as a baby. How miracle it is the way I was created , so as you.

When I was a child , I lived a carefree life and being able to play hide and seek with my brothers ,sisters ,cousins and even friends ,chasing each other down the field happily ,no worries ,no stress and in fact there is nothing that bothers my mind. However, when I reached puberty ,pressure, tension ,worries ,suddenly streaming down my head , especially during my secondary school life. The only thing that I really yearn for is FREEDOM as I am under 24hours control of my parents , I am not allowed to go out with my friends and even if I got the green light from my parents they would track me down and following me as the headlines of the news like “Two girls being raped “, “A teenage girl being robbed”, “MURDER” reminds my parents to be aware of the people beyond my house that might put my life into danger. The worst thing is that I am not allowed to own my cell phone ,and even can’t attend my friend’s birthday parties.

My life routine in my school life is monotonous and almost did the same thing every day , going to school every morning ,attending co -curricular activities every evening, followed by having tuition classes EVERY SINGLE DAY (9 tuition classes in a WEEK! Can you imagine that?) and I had my dinner at 11pm after coming back from tuition centre which is kind of bored and make me tedious .This is when the stress start to haunt me when I was in Form 2.With all my time spend on studying, on duty in the libraries , attending all sorts of seminars and camps , I had no time to hang out with my friends and even if I do I had to beg from my parents to let me out. I argued with my parents in order to let me out, however it always doesn’t work and it ends up that I would bang the door as hard as I could and threw the trophies that I received and cried with my blankets covering me. I yearn for freedom but I failed to get it and I give up after lots of attempts negotiating with my parents because I am tired with negotiating so I tried a different way, a more different way, one day ,I skipped tuition classes and decided to hang out with my friends ,but unfortunately being caught by my daddy in the same shopping complex that we went! Why so unlucky? And what’s more I am being scolded by my dad and fetch me back to continue my tuition lessons. He advised me that I should concentrate in my study and lecture me for two hours till 3am .After the lecture , I realize that my parents love me so much that they become over-protective on me, and from that days onwards I continued my routine and study hard. I believe that without them , I will not be studying in KBU international college taking the AUSMAT course. I really appreciate what they did for me and I love them very much too.

Bowling For Columbine

Walking down the stair with my mind full of catastrophic and shocking massarce scenes and the song of Louis Armstrong-"What A Wonderful World" that make me think of the EVIL sides of the world, this is what stay vivid in my mind after watching the documentary"Bowling For Columbine" in LT6. My tears dripping down drop by drop without my notice while I am watching the scene which U.S attacked other countries and millions of innocent people being killed in just a few seconds;30,000 Nicaraguans die in a war (1981), 4 million people in Southeast Asia killed by America military (1963-1975),American planes bomb Iraq on a WEEKLY basis,500,000 Iraqi children die from bombing and sanctions. Just by looking at the statistics given is already enough to show how evil ,ferocious, barbarous, bloodthirsty, inhumane, hellish some "PARTIES " are. They kill people like killing mosquitoes. Hey presto! How could they kill human on weekly basis?!!!!!! Did you hear that WEEKLY! How pathetic they are. Is money , status , power more important than human precious life? Why couldnt they negotiate with each other just like the Canadians did? Maybe , for them , weapons are the most powerful thing to defend their country in order to stay at "NO 1" in the world. FOR WHAT ? Is that worthwhile to take MILLIONS of people life , in return to get something they yearn for? How could they take other people's life so simply ?!!!!!! Did they really know what the feeling is when you lost your loved one?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Premarital Sex

I have been thinking of what should I write for this week's study log for hours , and finally I choose to write about the difficulties that I had encountered when my group members and I film for our documentary about "Premarital Sex" .We choose this topic because it is interesting and all of us espacially teenagers are curious of having "copulation" (quoted from Mr Derick) before marry. So, are u against or agree with premarital sex? Or are you already have sex with your partner?

Without any further ado, so let me tell you the reaction and response of the interviewee. First, Beng, hazman , Sabri and me went to 1 Utama to find our targeted people . I finally realize how difficult and how desperate it is to find someone who are willing to give their own opinions about this sensitive topic.Remember, "you can't judge a book by its cover " and this is one of the values that I had learned while making this documentary. I had made a terrible mistake in the way I interview people, for inatance in my first attempt of interviewing an elderly man ,in his 80's with wrinkles all aroung his face , I encountered him and introduce myself and mention the topic that we want to interview him; as I opened my mouth and said is about premarital sex , he answered ," I am too old to answer this question." What ? This is so ridiculous and what's wrong for an elderly people to give some opinion about this topic as we need senior citizens' perceptions. However , I respect his right to reject , so I just smiled at him and left. Nevertheless, I found teenegers are more easy to handle as most of them are willing to share with us .It really take us aboutfive hours just to interview a few of them and I admitted some of them are quite hard to handle, now only that I realized how tidious a reporter is.

After interviewing the public, I found some of the assessment that they gave really amazed me, surprise me, annoyed me and satisfied with the answer. Besides , one of the advantages of doing this documentory project is that I had learned to use the video -cam (Hazman - the rich guy provided video -cam )in the most effective way, it is really challenging of how to get the best shot in different angles that are able to give you different sensation when you view it , and I adore Sabri who really had the talent in doing it.

I believe that each and everyone of you also enjoyed making documentary ? As for me , I had learn many things in carrying out this project because I din't do any documentory in my previous school life.

The most interesting part of the documentory is that we ..........................................................

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is just around the corner,do you celebrate Valentine's with your love ones? Or you will just celebrate it as an ordinary day? In the West,it is the traditional day which lovers express their love with each other by sending greeting cards, chocolates, flowers, or offering confectionery. This special day originates from the story of Saint Valentine, who upon rejections by his mistress was so heartbroken that he took a knife to his chest and send her his still-beating heart as a token of his undying heart for her. Someone even commit suicide because of love as LOVE IS BLIND.

Do you ever wonder how people from other countries celebrate Valentine's Day? In Denmark and Norway, Valentine's Day is known as Valentinsdag . A lot of people celebrate this special day by having a romantic dinner with their love ones or sending roses and cards for their beloved. In Finland, Valentine's Day is called 'Friend's Day' ,as the name indicates, this day is more about remembering your friends rather than loved ones.In Slovenia, a proverb says that 'St Valentine brings the key of roots' so on 14th February , the plants and flowers start to grow. It is also said that birds propose to each other and married on that day (ridiculous). Valentine's Day is called Sevgililer Gunu in Turkey, which translates into 'Sweethearts' Day '.
Valentine's Day seemed to be romantic and lovely, why not make it a bit lively and funny.
Here are some of the jokes about husbands and wives that will make you enjot thoroughly.
Her husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months yet she stayed by his bedside every single day. When he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer. As she sat by him, he said, "You know what? You have been with me all through the bad times. When I got fired, you were there to support me. When my business
fell, you were there. When I got shot, you were by my side. When we lost the house, you gave me support. When my health started failing, you were still by my side. When I think about it now. ....I think you bring me bad luck!"

Boring husband: Honey, why are you wearing your wedding ring on the wrong finger?
Bored wife: Because I married the wrong man!

A couple came upon a wishing well. The wife leaned over, made a wish and threw in a penny. The husband decided to make a wish, too But he leaned over too much, fell into the well, and drowned. The wife was stunned for a moment but then smiled, "It really works!"

A successful man is one who makes more money
than his wife can spend.A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

When a newly married couple smiles, everyone knows why. When a ten-year married couple smiles, everyone wonders why.

Why government does not allow a Man to Marry 2 Women. Because per Constitution, you can NOT PUNISH TWICE for the same Mistake.

I miss you terribly this day of love,
Miss you with a wound that stabs and aches.
I see the love around me, and it takes
So much strength simply just to move.
Soon, soon, my love, this waiting will be done.
You and I will have what we desire.
On days like this we'll sit beside the fire,
Undoing all the pain of days long gone.
As for me, we must appreciate every moment we have with our loved ones especially our parents because of them, we are born to this world , because of them , we know what is love , and without them I won't be sitting here writing this blog.

A Wonderful Experience In My life

A Wonderful Experience In My Teenege Life
I believe that each and every one of us has the most stupendous experience in our lives that still stay vivid in our minds even though the incident had happened a long time ago. My story begin at 6th of June 2007 at 7.45am during my secondary school assembly, my heart pounding as fast as the speed of light travel while my school counsellor , Miss Ngiao announced a list of students who had been selected randomly by the computer to participate in National Service and I am the lucky one. After that , I found out that I am joining the second group that will only begin the tedious training in March.
My campsite situated at Pasir Puteh , Port Dickson near the seaside where I am able to have a picturesque view over the sea. However, one of the disadvantages of staying near the sea was that during the day, the scorching sun was roasting, scalding and blistering me ; while during the night, I was freeze to death. There were about one thousand “soldiers” who came from different states such as Kelantan, Terenggenu , Kedah ,Johor ,Sarawak and Melaka. I was so enthusiastic to make friends with them , to learn more about their cultures, religions and their lifestyles. Day after day , when time passed away, I began to learn different kinds of behaviours about my friends, some are good and some are bad. Most of my chum there were amiable and charming people ,especially the Malays , they are very nice to me and I like them very much although we are from different backgrounds , religions and cultures. Till now, I still remembered some of them who were quite close to me and they were Sha , Anis , Zah, Mira (my roommate) , Ama (the cute girl that looks like Nadia), Nor and Maheran. We almost do everything together, we also bath together .But, wait, please don’t get the wrong idea, we bath wearing our “sarung” which the Malays taught me how to tied it firmly .It was indeed a very interesting experience having a bath with them while most of the Chinese girls would choose to bath inside the bathrooms with doors , as for me bathing outside with the Malays was more enjoying and time consuming too.
There were many mysterious, ghastly, gruesome stories about ghost and apparition. At first , I don’t really believe in this kind of silly matters, however when time passed I began to believe it as one day I am one of the victims .The real ghost story of mine begin like this: as the Malays had advised me that when we were having our periods, we must always washed our pads thoroughly before disposed them into the dustbin. However , I was very stubborn and it was really disgusting to wash my own pads as I had never done that before. Besides , they also told me not to wear short pants when I sleep but I refused to follow their advise. The next morning , at 5.00 am , when I woke up, I was very shocked to find out that there were three dark brown red spots at the sole of my right foot, however I dint feel any pain at all, and that was the weird part of it. I immediately reported to my commander, and she said this was very hard to explain as she already observed this kind of incident before. After that, the Malays explained to me that was because I din’t clean up my pads , so the “ghost” came and suck my blood when I was asleep. The chill went down my spine as I heard their explanation. From that day onwards , I began to abide their advices. Besides , there were many weird incidents that happened , and one of them were some of the trainees heard somebody was pushing the lockers in their room in the middle of the night while others heard that someone was calling their names at 3.00am and the worst part was the trainees staying at the end of the row noticed that someone was singing their group song in the wee hours. One of my friend , a Chinese guy , we called him Lee had been gifted with the ability to be able to see ghosts. One day , when there was an electrical black out for about ten minutes in the hall at around 9.30pm , he told me he saw a child sitting there waving at him , however I couldn’t see anything as it was so dark and I just kept quiet as I know what he was looking at.

The most thrilling experience was I had the opportunity to gone through the shooting session. Before we were brought to the shooting spot ,the real soldiers gave us a brief talk about the way to hold a real gun ( I can’t remember the model of the rifle) and the safety precautions that we had to considered before we shoot. All the trainees participated in this training session except for those who had heart problems and asthma, and we were given 30 bullets to shoot; 10 bullets for trying session while 20 bullets for our group competition. I was so eager and thrill when it was my turn to shoot. Before we shoot , we were told to insert a small yellowish sponge into our ears and crawl down on the floor with the most professional pose. However , when I shoot for the first time , I can feel the impact of the rifle on my right shoulder, it was so painful ,however there were 29 more bullets to go. At last, we had successfully completed the shooting training and it was a great relief for me and believe it or not I only managed to obtain 12 over 100 marks as I was tiny and smaller while the highest was a Malay guy who score 96 over 100 , however some even worst than me that they din’t score any mark at all.

By becoming one of the trainees in National Service , I have gained lots of experiences and valuable knowledge in my teenage life and I am certainly not regret of joining this interesting programme .

Quotes

This evening, I visited a website that caught my attention ,it is all about quotes from different categories ,such as love, friendship, happiness, money and others. I found it very useful to me , especially when I write essays , thus I would like to share some of the quotes with all of you.

"I'm not offended by all the dumb blonde jokes because I know I'm not dumb... and I also know that I'm not blonde."

These are some of the quotes that I have learnt online .However , some of the American politician quotes, for instance Barack Obama said focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it's only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get to where we are today, but we have just begun. Today we begin in earnest the work of making sure that the world we leave our children is just a little bit better than the one we inhabit today. How powerful Barack Obama's words is to the people ,especially to the Americans.

I began to learn more about quotes. kiki.....

Italiannies

Italiannies

This American-Italian restaurant offers diners an authentic Italian setting that is sure to capture the hearts and taste buds of all who come here. I heard a lot of good things about Italliannies restaurants, how delicious are their food and how top notch are their services. I knew I had to give this eminent restaurant which is situated in 1 Utama a try.

Last Sunday , I decided to go with my special friend to have a nice dinner there . Italianness has a very unique looking storefront and from outside it may look a little small but it was pretty large inside. I wondered how they could designed this restaurant that can capture our attentions to explore what special food are they serving and how the restaurant looks like. Besides, Italiannies is well-known for their big portions as what the slogan sounds ," The best way to enjoy Italiannies ,bring friends and a big appetite".

Services were indeed very good. First of all, they served us free bread (was it really free?) which was warm and fresh from the oven .This was a nice starter ,we dipped the bread in the olive oil and Balsamic vinegar and gladly munched on them. Next , here came our first dish -Garlic Chicken Pizza which cost RM 29.90 . You got to love the cheese that they put in the pizza. Sinfully delicious and aromatic. The pizza was coated with thin layer of cheese, moiturizing the rather dry pizza ,so that it is easier to be gulped down. Caesar salad which cost RM 19.90 was our next dish and I can't tell you exactly what ingredients they are using to make this salad and the taste ,frankly is a litlle bit weird , anyway we still managed to finish it. I ordered one ice cafe mocha which was RM 7.90 and I can't believe that my special friend order Iinero teste which is a kind of beer and it cost RM 18.90 ,pretty expensive but luckily my special friend din't drunk.

We spent RM 84.30 just for our dinner , however I really enjoy having dinner there.
Rather than shopping , I would choose to have a nice meal. (maybe)

Last but not least ,I do recommend you guys to have a meal in Italiannies , and you would not regret.

The Way I Study

Studying is to the mind what exercise is to the body .It is wholesome and bracing for the mind to have its faculties kept in stretch. Our mind is like a parachute , it only works when it is open. If you really want the satisfaction and amazing opportunity that life long learning can bring , then "kaizen" is the magic secret. This is one of the principle that I hold during my study.

First of all, why is the word "kaizen" influence me so much? "Kaizen" is famous as one of the cornerstones of the success of the Japanese industry. It is a principle that demands constant, incremental improvement every day . It comes from the attitude that is essential to suceessful warrior training in the martial arts and I hope one day I would become one of them to achieve my dream . Success will not come all at once. Succeess comes only if you commit to finding some small way to improve every day. Every little steps you take , it counts ; it is the accumulation of these little steps that creates the biggest change. Therefore ,study consistently every day really help me a lot. As the saying goes ,"The secret of success is constancy of purpose".

However , during this learning process , I have encountered many obstacles and sometimes failures too. Nothing is perfect in this world , all of us will make silly mistakes in our exams or even silly choices in our life. The most crucial thing is that we should know how to handle the problem or the failures that we face properly as whatever action we take will affect the result. Remember, failing and making mistakes are the only way to make true progress in something new. Failure also fade away as you make an effort .However, to some extent , I believe in luck as we can't predict the outcome of whatever we do , is all depends on God to give us something that we yearn for or take it back and give you later and even refuse to give you.

Furthermore, we must have our own way to release stress , so that we are able to study in a comfortable way. As in my case, during my secondary school, I would go to my aunt condominium 's swimming pool to swim as I find it is the best way to relax. But , now I am still finding the best way to release my tension as I am in KL now, not in Malacca.

Last but not least, I hope that I am able to cope with my study this year.
